This LSLC course provides specialist mediation training for those who wish to represent their clients in the mediation of shipping and commercial disputes.

The course’s approach

Through case study, it demonstrates:
• both successful and unsuccessful party representation strategies
• insights into mediators’ perspectives

By role-playing participation, the course:
• analyses tactics that may lead to the success or failure of the mediation
• identifies good practice for effective representation

In-house lawyers, solicitors or barristers, insurance and P& I managers, and others who wish to learn about effective representation in mediation
